Stay home day...

We love stay home day at our house. No alarm clock..well unless you call a small child demanding to know where you put his red and black car last night at 7 am.  We also have some very interesting conversations on stay home days. We started the day with of course where did I put his red and black car...hmmm...Kaden you only have 500 cars (ya, seriously 500 cars!).  Apparently I took them, and I put them "somewhere!"  They were found, two hours later, at the end of his bed.  Mind you this bed is a bunk...Mama doesn't go on top of the bunk unless it's to change the sheets.  Which is an entire different painful story!!  Next it was pee...the child  went potty...only to let me know his pee stinks...just like his Dads.  Always information you want to discuss.  Hmmm....Next...the plot thickened.  Kaden has been ingtrigued by the entire birth process for quite some time.  I'm pretty sure he's going to be an Obstetrician!  He's been very happy with "babies are in Mommy's tummy's" for a long time.  Not today...today...he wanted to know how they get out of the Mommy's tummy!  Ok....ahhh....Hey at least he didn't want to know how they get in there!!!  That will be conversation for another stay home day down the road!  Yep...all this and it was barely 8 am.  I need to get some more coffee!

  1. I know you never have a boring day!! Aren't children precious, they say what we adults would never say, and they always have a way of making us laugh when we have a bad day!!! Have a great day! Lecia

  2. Hi Katie, love your stay home day conversations, LOL... Gotta love those kiddo questions. My daughter is now 8 and the other night she seen a commercial for planned pregnancy, she asked "how can you plan to get pregnant", see, all this time she thought God put the baby in your belly and when it was time to have one, it just happened... worked longer than I thought it would...

Have a Blessed Stay Home Day... Traci
