Ohhh..your going to want one of these...

Have you ever went shopping and fell in love with something?  I do..a lot, lol.  I'm really trying to fill my home with things I love...and getting rid of the  likes.  Cuz I have a lot of stuff!  Being in a two bedroom apartment doesn't leave me with a ton of room for it all.  Since discovering the wonderful world of blogging...and that oh so addicting Etsy..I have found so many things that I love.  One of  a kind unique things...that just speak to me.

A few years back I moved back to Wisconsin from California.  Even as a nurse, the job market was less than desirable.  AND because I'd been a nurse for over 13 years, I was a little picky.  I wanted just the right thing.  I was also a single Mom..and there were some shifts that I just couldn't do because of it.  Sooo...I chose a job that required me to take a HUGE paycut...HUGE.  It was really hard for me to adjust to.  And although I was never "rolling in the dough" I did have a little extra that I could indulge occassionally in my "loves."  Sooo...with a new job, a new apartment,  basically a new life..I adopted a new philosophy.  When I saw something I loved...sleep on it.  If I still loved it..and thought about it the next day,  and had a little extra to afford it...go for it.

Soooo...fast forward to a few months ago.  One of our fellow bloggers posted some items she was getting rid of.  I immediately fell in love with a gingham prairie dress with a bonnet.  I loved it...just loved it...and really hadn't seen anything quite like it.  At least not in the size it was.  BUT...it was $40, and I really didn't have an extra $40, and made myself slow down...step back...and remember my new philosophy.  I couldn't stop thinking about the dress.  I wanted the dress.  I loved the dress.  I didn't have anythign else like it in my house.  And that dress was speaking to me.  I went back to the blog to purchase it.  Only to find out that it had already been sold.  I was sad.  I set out on a mission to find one like it...and came up with notta.

Enter the wonderful world of blogging and an amazing blogging friend.  I have fallen in love with MANY of Traci's things.  I just love her style.  I have three of her most amazing prairie dolls sitting on my bed..I have the cutest little brown bunny and head of cabbage..I have some little ditty bags..AND Traci being the amazing person she is...always seems to stick a little something in my packages for Kaden.  Which of course Kaden loves!!!  So..do I dare ask?  Could she possible recreate this dress.  Well ladies....here it is...

Your loving it aren't you... I know I sure do.  Thank you Thank you Thank you Traci!!!  It's absolutley perfect!!!  I did hear a rumor that she might be adding these to her website...just sayin....
