Hungry Hook Giveaway...

I wanted to do another entry today...because I came across a giveaway that I really wanted to share!  Isn't it funny..how sometimes in your life..you come across people that touch you in a special way.  For some reason...Margie became that person this week.  It all started with finding the most adorable stitchery that said "Jesus Loves Me This I Know".   I have always loved this song.  In fact, in my younger...three year old singer days...I actually sang it at my Grandpa's church!  I had to have this for Kaden's room.  Margie and I shared a few emails...and the stitchery was mine.  But she shared more...something that touched my heart...and deep into my soul.  She shared that her son was being deployed...so she may be a little delayed on sending the stitchery.  My heart just swelled for her in so many ways.  I've experienced these deployments myself...Kaden's Dad, two of my cousins, my uncle.  I know how they can pull at your heart...how you can be so amazingly proud and yet terrified all at the same time.  Being the Mom of boys myself....I can only slightly imagine..knowing the emotions I went through how she must feel.  I've spent the entire day thinking of Margie..and had many a tear run down my cheek for her today.  For the absolute pride she must be feeling and yet just wanting to hold on to her son and never let him go.  Please friends...say a special prayer for Margie and her family tonight...and every night.  They all are doing this for us...for our safety...for our country.  And I for one...am thrilled to be able to add Margie to my circle of new friends.  God Bless you!

AND most certainly do go check out her giveaway.  I am so so very envious of her talent.  I really do need to take some classes..lol..or something.  Of course I CAN deliver babies, lol...but the bi products of that would NOT be pretty displayed anywhere!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend friends.  Katie

  3. This is a touching post. I pray Gods puts a shield around this young man protects him. I also pray for his Mother. Have been there, but all of my sons deployments were in peace time.
