Today was my Mom's 69th birthday. I cannot believe she's 69. My Mom is NOT almost 70. 70 is old..and my Mom is NOT old. The sisters and I all drove through another beautiful Wisconsin snow storm to celebrate. It was shopping at our favorite prim shop, lunch and TGIF's, and more shopping. Mom is redoing her livingroom and kitchen. She found the cutest little red side table! It is going to be so cute in her livingroom when it's all finished.
Baby K went to school and daycare. He was not happy about that at all. We told him we were going bra and undie shopping so he wouldn't be so upset about not going. So far he hasnt asked to see my new bras, lol!!!!
We had an amazing little red cabinet made for Mom. She was sooo thrilled. She just kept saying...I can't believe I have something like this. I can't believe I have something like this. I love that she loved it.
We kept giving her a hard time...now that she's almost 70. She "budged" in line at one store. So we were teasing her that she was going to be one of "those" oldies, you know..the one's that think cuz they're old the world owes them. We were giggling like the bunch of girls we are!
The day ended with a trip to Barnes and Noble and a cup of coffee!
