He's a joy...

I know as a Mom you always (well almost always) think your kids are the best.  But when someone else compliments your child...it makes you feel like your on top of the world!  I picked Kaden up from school yesterday and his teacher took me aside.  She said, "I just have to tell you what an absolute joy Kaden is to have in class.  He is so polite, and so caring and considerate.  And he is such a hoot...the stuff that comes out of him!  I just love him.  You've done a wonderful job with him!"  My head is still the size of Texas!

His other teacher also had to tell me about his show and tell day.  Kaden had brought Seth's pillow pet for show and tell.  He told the class all about the pillow pet, it's name, what it was, and that it was Seth's.  He then apparently told the class they should SMELL the pillow pet, because it smelled like Seth!!!  So they all did....

Then she said a day or so later he and one of his little classmates where walking down the hall.  She told Kaden he smelled good.  Kaden told her that was because he smelled like Seth!

Apparently Seth is one good smelling brother!!

Last night Zach shot an 8 point buck.  He was so excited.  His eyes get this sparkle when he's excited.  And he gets really fidgety.  It's so funny...he's always been like that.  And still is....almost 26 years later.  Sooo...anyway...he brougth the deer over for Kaden to see.  There is a new young lady moving into one of the upstairs apartments.  Kaden kept telling Zach he should ask her if she wanted to see his deer.  He kept going, "come on Zach, ask her.  Just ask her to come see the deer."  It was pretty funny..like baby brother was trying to set big brother up with a date!  Zach and Seth were then going to go and register the deer.  Well Kaden wanted to go alone.  Zach had his Dad's farm truck.  Which is a rusty old piece of junk.  I told K he needed to go to bed, so had to stay home.  His response..."Oh man...I really wanted to see what it was like to ride in a rusty old truck!"

  1. Oh how could he go wrong with his mommy's great character. He could grow up and be a great story teller, be an author :o) You go right ahead and be proud!
