WHAT is going on...

City administration has reported that we did indeed have a 1.5 earthquake last Tuesday.  Yet the booms have continued.  Last night...residents reported the loudest of booms yet.  One resident reported their basement "cracked."  It frustrates me that the city seems to feel now that they have an answer to "what" this is...that they can make t shirts...that say..."I survived the 1.5" and move on.  They have "decided" they didn't need $7000 worth of seismic equipment to monitor for quakes etc.  Really people?  Something is going on here.   It's frustrating...and I'm not even in the area it's happening!  Sorry...I just needed to vent!

  1. Hi Katei,
We keep hearing reports about your area as well and are so confused.
Sounds like it is 'human originated' sounds if they come at distinct times...drilling with explosives is about the only thing it can be. Incredible that no one will fess up.

  3. Hi Katie, so glad you are alright! We had an earthquake here last year, they are happening in places they never happened at before, and as far as the government, I don't trust a thing they say. hugs,

  5. Hi Katie ~ I seen you made the news again today. I was wandering if all the shaking and booming would crack or shift someones house.
It's such a bummer that they really aren't doing anything about it. So you vent girl!!!
    Hope they solve it soon!
    Prim Blessings

  6. We have a bombing site just south of here. Planes drop them for practice. It sounds like an earthquake and sometimes can shake a little. If we lived closer, it would be worse. It's not common knowledge about this site. Just word of mouth. So, maybe the government has just set up something like this near you and no one knows about it. Someone knows though, and is not telling. That makes it worse. To let the public go on speculating, writing newspaper articles and such.
