My livingroom curtains have arrived. I love them. I was a bit dissapointed when I first opened the package because the red is not what I expected. BUT....with red....lol...it never is! There are so many different shades. What I call barn red...is not obviously what others call barn red. It's my own fault for not asking for a fabric swatch ahead of time. YET...once up..I still pretty much love them! I do have two other pieces of furniture in my livingroom that are this more maroon shade of red. Soooo...tell me...what do you think????
I purchased them from a gal on ebay. Her name is Vickie Thigpen. Her ebay site is:

She has some wonderful prim curtains and bonnets! Check her out!
NOW...if only I could decide what to do on the diningroom windows! UGH!

ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with red, no matter what color it is. I really like them
ReplyDeleteI love them... They look very prim...
ReplyDeleteGod bless...
I think they look great, Katie! I am a lover of red, some times I get paint that is too maroon for me, but it is still in the red family. They look good, so don't worry about it and maybe do the same in the dining room. Oh, BTW, I saw a blue bonnet in one of your photos!...lol...

Pretty Katie. They are so flowey (is that even a word?). Red is a perfect color to decorate with. I can't wait to see what you pick out for the other window. I am so happy that you are having such a great time redecorating your new home. It's been fun to watch too. -Steph-
ReplyDeleteI think they look great. Totally understand the red thing. It isn't a colour you can order without seeing it in person.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so cozy and warm looking. Perfect.
Oh yeah, I know Vickie. I've got some of her grubby bonnets and brown flannel curtains. The sun faded my curtains though, but only on the backside. You could coffee stain your curtains.
